Thailand purchase Gripen 39 C/ D

The cabinet approved the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) purchase of Gripen 39 C/D aircraft on 8 January 2008. The RTAF will be provided with one Saab 340 aircraft for the training and one Erieye airborne early warning radar equipped Saab 340 aircraft.

Douglas Aviation participate in the work with drafting agreement and was a part of the expert group how was negotiation with representatives from Royal Thai Air Force.

Swedish negotiation group leader represent FMV Averstad and Air Chief Marshal Itthaporn Subhawong, signing negotiation draft.
